Maha Kumbh Fair - Tour Itinerary

  • Day 1- Delhi Airport – Agra (200 KM, 3.5 Hours)

    You will get warm welcome at Delhi airport and get straight transfer to Agra city took only 3 hours. In the evening explore the historical Mughal time bazaars of Agra. Stay overnight at Agra hotel.

  • Day 2-Taj Mahal Sunrise Tour - Stay at Lucknow

    Early morning witness the beauty of Taj Mahal with your tour guide, explore Taj Mahal gardens, museum and whole complex where tour guide explains the history and architecture of this love monument. Enjoy breakfast at hotel and continue drive straight to Lucknow city located on the distance of 350 kms which took 4 hours to reach from Agra.

    Day 3- Lucknow - Explore Kumbh Mela

    After breakfast you will leave to Prayagraj city which is located on the distance of 200 kms and you will get there in 5 hours. Prayag is the place where the largest congregation of pilgrims on earth and plays a central spiritual role in the country. The Kumbh mela is a melting pot of cultures with people from all walks of life come together to celebrate. Enjoy the spiritual atmosphere where the air is filled with hymns, chants, religious discourses as saints. In the evening enjoy the aarti ceremony performed at Sangam Ghat. Later return back to camps to enjoy dinner and overnight stay.

    Day 4- Bathing Ceremony & Cultural Activities at Kumbh Mela

    Wake up early to enjoy the sacred bath at Triveni Sangam ghat which is the most historical place in India. This pious bank of river has confluence of 3 holy river The Ganges, Yamuna and Saraswati which is still invisible but the other two rivers confluence you can see from naked eyes. After taking bath you will enjoy photography, practices, ceremonies and rituals of saints, pilgrims and tourists coming across the world. Come back for lunch at camps. In the evening again explore the different sects, camps, Akharas of saints and naga sadhus which are living with their disciples and followers and offers community feedings to the people. Also visit Hanuman Ji temple, Shankar Viman mandapam temple and other sites of Kumbh mela. Return back for overnight stay at camps.

    Day 5- Prayagraj - Varanasi Airport Departure

    After breakfast you will depart straight to Varanasi or Prayagraj airport to catch your return flight to Delhi. Here the tour ends.
