Tour Itinerary

  • Day 01: Arrival in Delhi

    Upon arrival at Delhi Airport, New Delhi, you will be greeted by our representative. Afterwards transfer to your hotel to relax and overnight stay.

  • Day 02: Delhi – Varanasi (Flight)

    After breakfast, check out and transfer to the airport to catch the flight for Varanasi. On arrival, proceed to the pre-booked hotel in Varanasi. En-route visits the Sarnath where Lord Buddha preached his first sermon. Here also visit the impressive Dhamekha Stupa, the Deer Park, and the Sarnath Museum (closed on Fridays), housing remarkable Buddhist antiquities. Overnight stay in Varanasi.

  • Day 03: Varanasi – Bodhgaya

    Early morning enjoy boat ride tour on the River Ganges, witnessing the ancient ghats and spiritual ceremonies performed on the banks of river Ganges and sunrise along the ghats. Come back to the hotel for breakfast and after the check-out drive to Bodhgaya (approx. 260 km / 6 hours). On arrival, Visit the revered Mahabodhi Temple, the place where Lord Buddha attained enlightenment under the Bodhi tree. Overnight stay in Bodhgaya.

  • Day 04: Bodhgaya

    After breakfast, you will leave to visit the other religious sites of Bodhgaya such as Dungeshwari (Mahakala) Caves, where Lord Buddha practiced extreme meditation before enlightenment. Return to Bodhgaya to explore Sujata Village, the Niranjana (Falgu) River, and beautiful international monasteries built by Buddhist nations from across the world. Overnight stay in Bodhgaya.

  • Day 05: Bodhgaya – Rajgir – Nalanda – Vaishali

    After the breakfast you will check out from hotel and drive to Rajgir, an important Buddhist center to visit Gridhkutta Peak (Vulture’s Peak), where Lord Buddha delivered many sermons, and the Peace Pagoda built by Japanese Buddhists. Also visit Bimbisara Jail and Monastery. After lunch, continue to Nalanda, to watch the ruins of the ancient world-renowned Nalanda University, once a great centre of Buddhist learning. Later, drive to Vaishali. Check in upon arrival. Overnight stay in Vaishali.

  • Day 06: Vaishali – Kushinagar

    After the sumptuous breakfast, visit Vaishali’s sacred sites including the Ashokan Pillar, Relic Stupa, Coronation Tank, and World Peace Pagoda. After lunch, drive to Kushinagar. Here visit the Mahaparinirvana Temple, where Lord Buddha attained Mahaparinirvana, and the Ramabhar Stupa, the site of his cremation. Overnight stay in Kushinagar.

  • Day 07: Kushinagar – Lumbini (Nepal)

    After breakfast, check out and drive to Lumbini located in the neighbour country Nepal (Please note: Double-entry Indian visa and single-entry Nepal visa are required to cross the border of India-Nepal). On arrival, check in at the hotel and have lunch. Visit Lumbini Garden, the birthplace of Lord Buddha, including the Maya Devi Temple, Ashokan Pillar, and other sacred monuments. Overnight stay in Lumbini.

  • Day 08: Lumbini – Sravasti

    After breakfast, ypou will enjoy the meditation at Maya Devi Temple and Ashokan Pillar for spiritual reflection. After lunch, drive to Sravasti, one of the most important places where Lord Buddha spent 24 Rainy seasons. Check in upon arrival. Overnight stay in Sravasti.

  • Day 09: Sravasti – Lucknow

    After breakfast, explore the sacred sites of Sravasti (Saheth–Maheth). Visit Jetavana Monastery, Ananda Bodhi Tree, Angulimala Cave, and Den Maha Mongkol Temple. Sravasti is believed to be the place where Lord Buddha spent monastic seasons and performed many miracles. After lunch, drive to Lucknow. Check in at the hotel on arrival. Overnight stay in Lucknow.

  • Day 10: Lucknow – Sankasia – Agra

    After breakfast, drive toward Agra, stopping en route at Sankasia, the site where Lord Buddha is believed to have descended from heaven after preaching to his mother. Visit the sacred area and Bisari Devi Temple. Continue the drive to Agra. On arrival, check in at the hotel. Overnight stay in Agra.

  • Day 11: Agra – Delhi

    After breakfast, proceed for sightseeing in Agra. Visit the seven wonder of the world the Taj Mahal (closed on Fridays), built by Emperor Shah Jahan in the loving memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. Afterwards visit the historic Agra Fort, a world heritage site. Enjoy free time for shopping as Agra is famous for marble inlay work and handicrafts. After lunch, drive to Delhi. Dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight stay in Delhi.

  • Day 12: Delhi – Departure

    After breakfast, transfer to Delhi International Airport for your onward journey, carrying unforgettable memories of this sacred Buddhist pilgrimage. Tour concludes
