UDAIPUR
This beautiful city of Rajasthan also referred as “Venice of East” as the city of Udaipur is surrounded by Aravali Mountains and is situated around the Lake Pichola. The landscape of hills, lakes and its altitude gives Udaipur its pleasant climate. This probably explains the reason Udaipur is considered most romantic city of Rajasthan. The experience in Udaipur with its magnificent hills, fascinating lakes, marvelous palaces and gardens is a remarkable one. Some of the important tourist attractions in and around Udaipur are City Palace Museum, Jag Mandir, Eklingji, Kumbhalgarh Fort, Jagmandir Palace, Arsi Vilas, Shilpgram among others. 
UDAIPUR ATTRACTION
Lake Pichola
This lake is located at the centre of the city. It was built by Maharaja Udai Singh to store the water of mountain stream. Udaipur activities happen all around this lake. The lake is about 4 Kms in length and 3 Km in width. The façade with this lake itself is a delight for eyes.
City Palace
City Palace in Udaipur is the largest palace complex in Rajasthan. The original structure was built in the sixteenth century. Thereafter, each successive rulers in Udaipur made its architectural mark on the City Palace complex. Now the City palace complex has storehouses, stables, wells and farms within its walls. The palace has numerous balconies, towers and stunning views over the lake and the city from the upper terraces. A part of the City Palace is converted into a Museum, with a large collection of artifacts.
Crystal Gallery
Crystal Palace houses a collection of crystal artifacts including fountains, vases, crockery and furniture. What is amazing about this collection is the ethnicity of the designs. There are objects in crystal that are distinctly Indian in conception like the lotas or drinking water vessels and chuskies or small decanters. Alongside this fascinating range of crystal are exhibited silver beds, chairs and brocade and velvet seating.
The Durbar Hall
This royal hall was built by Maharaja Fateh Singh. This majestic hall has its interior design very impressive and appreciated. Durbar Hall has some of the largest chandeliers of India. Numerous old paintings, weapons and grand portraits of former maharanas of Mewar adorn the walls of this hall.
Fateh Sagar
This is another fascinating lake of Udaipur just outside Udaipur. It was constructed by Maharaja Jai Singh in the year 1678. There is a small island at the centre of the Lake, the entire island is a park. There is also a Ship shaped restaurant to serve the visitors with meals.
Ahar Museum
This site has hosts the remains of an ancient city. Ahar Museum hosts old earthen pottery, sculptures and other archaeological finds.
