NAINITAL ATTRACTIONS

Naini Lake
This pearl shape lake right at the centre of Nainital is the main Attraction of Nainital. Naini lake is surrounded by high mountains and enhances the beauty of Nainital. Boating is an option in Naini Lake.

Mall Road

This is the main street in Nainital, full of souvenir shops, restaurants, hotels, public offices. This main street connects Mallital and Tallital the two ends of Nainilake. A walk on the Mall is highly recommended.

Naina Peak
At an altitude of an altitude of 8,500 Feet, Naina Peak is the highest peak of Nainital Mountains. At around 6 kms above Nainital, this peak is giver a panoramic view of the surrounding snow capped mountains. This peak was previously known as China Peak and is accessible only by foot.

Snow View
Situated at an altitude of around 7,500 feet on Sher Ka Danda peak, this point offers a magnificent view of surrounding mountains and snow covered Himalayan peaks. Nanda Devi and trishool peaks are visible from here on a clear day. This point is accessible by a cable car ride, which in itself is a remarkable experience.

Naina Devi Temple
This ancient Temple of Naina Devi is situated in Mallital, north side of Naini Lake. This temple was destroyed in a landslide and was rebuilt.

Bhimtal
This lake is around 2 Kms from Nainital and is larger than the Naini Lake. This lake has a restaurant built over an island in the lake. Bhimeshwar Temples is a walk away.
