DHARAMSHALA
This is a hill station of Northern State of Himachal Pradesh. It is in the Dhauladhar range. This station is surrounded by dense forests, primarily Deodar and oak trees. High rise Snown covered mountain peaks surrounds Dharamshala from three sides. Dharamshala is one of the important destination of Exiled tibetians. Tibetans have settled their and have build various monasteries and schools. Due to the importance of Dharamshala amongst Tibetans in India, it is sometimes also referred as “Little Lhasa”. Dharamshala is one of the popular hill stations of India and probably the only one with easiest accessibility to the Snowline. Dharamshala is favourites of many due to its picturesque beauty, scenic mountains and the amount of greenery present in the town. The serene town draws lots of tourists every year either to experience the first snow fall of the year or just to enjoy the captivating weather.

McLeod Ganj 
Also known as upper Dharamshala is the current home of spiritual Buddhist leader Dalai Lama. Exiled Tibetans In India, under the guidance of Holy Dalai Lama, have constructed several monasteries and Tibetan schools at McLeod Ganj. McLeod Ganj is relatively more peaceful than lower Dharamshala and is also known for its Tibetan market and several handicrafts made by the Tibetans themselves.
Dip Thekchen Choeling Monastery
This is one of the important budhist monasteries in India. It is surrounded by the pine forests and looks spectacular with its golden roof getting visible among the Pine tree tops. The monastery houses a budhist museum with bronze figures, Buddhist images and a collection of mandalas. It also has a Libraray rich in collection of ancient manuscripts, books on Buddhism, photographs on Tibet, prayer scrolls and sacred texts.
Norbulingka Institute
The Tibetan Institute is located opposite to The residence of His Holiness Dali Lama and is one of the best institute in the world to study Tibetan culture and arts. The institute produces Tibetan gift items, paintings, woodworks, metalwork, fashion accessories, silk paintings, furniture, Buddhist artifacts and much more.
Tsuglagkhang 
Tsuglagkhang is the main temples of budhists to offer prayers. This temples houses three prominent images of Sakyamuni Buddha, Avalokitesvara and Padmasambhava. Main image of Sakyamuni Buddha is about three meter high and is made of bronze. The central prayer room here in temple is calm and peaceful.
Dal Lake
This beautiful oval shaped artificial lake is adjacent to the Tibetan children's village,
and is surrounded by deodar and pine trees. Most of the trekking routes starts from Dal Lake. This is one of the most visited places in Dharamshala by tourists and Locals.
Chamunda Devi
This Hindu Temples dedicated to Gidess Durga also called Chamunda is around 16 Kms from Dharamshla. The Temple is situated on the hill top and offeres a enchamting view of the surrounding Mountains and Forest.
Masroor
This place is around 17 Kms from Kangra and known for a group of fifteen ancient rock Temples. These Temples are carved into the rocks and date back to 8th Century. The carvings of these temples are similar to that of Kailas temple of Ellora. One can find Images of god Rama, Sita and Lakshmi in main temple.
